The Colorway voltage relay is a special device for protecting against voltage surges in the network. The relay analyzes the mains voltage in real time and automatically disconnects the connected equipment from the power supply when the voltage indicators reach critical levels. When the voltage returns to the set load range, it automatically turns on with a short delay. The turn-on delay is necessary for equipment that cannot tolerate short-term shutdowns (refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners).
Easy installation in just 3 steps:
Disconnect the equipment to be protected from the outlet.
Plug the socket into the ColorWay voltage relay.
Insert the relay into the power outlet. Wait until the delay time expires and the relay turns on. If the mains voltage exceeds the value of the set protection range, the relay will turn off the equipment immediately. After the voltage is restored, the relay will resume normal operation according to the set delay time. Relay functions:
Overvoltage detection: If the voltage exceeds 260V, the red overvoltage indicator will flash and the protective equipment will be turned off.
Low voltage detection: If the voltage is lower than 165V, the red low voltage indicator will turn on and the protection equipment will be turned off.
Normal voltage detection: If the voltage is between 165V and 260V, the fault indication will disappear. From this moment, a three-minute timer will start counting down, and the green indicator will start flashing.
After three minutes, the green indicator will stop flashing and will continue to glow. At this time, the equipment to be protected will be disconnected to ensure that the voltage is within the proper operating range.
